Me to, I left early. I couldnt stand anymore.
You know where games are won and lost? The Line of Scrimmage...... Appy was dominated all night long, plain and simple.
good luck to both teams in the playoffs

Lawson is pretty tough, and honestly him in the backfield is hard to stop. Trust us, we know *lol*
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
I saw the Bulldogs play earlier in the season and their line performed much better in that game than tonight. The Vikings gave Appy some smash mouth football. Not a lot to analyze. PV's coaches have made a lot of good adjustments as this season has moved along. Lawson did not start the season as tailback but has performed very well - he reads his blocks! The Pinkstons move to LBs on defense has made a difference also. They are both good young players.
PV could win the region but I think all four teams in D2 have a good chance to be champions and that will be a great regional. In D1, Norton will roll. I hope they bring a state title back to the LPD.
Lawson is a heck of a football player. Probably the best receiver in the district, a darn good runner, a decent QB, a heck of a punt returner and not a bad DB. Got to be the most versatile player in the district if not the best.
Absolutely no disrespect intended towards Appy or Roger Austin who I knew years ago (he's done a great good IMO), but the game went pretty much exactly as I expected. I was really shocked at the number of people on this board prior to the game picking Appy to win. I thought the match-ups just favored PV in nearly every case.
Good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

the counter plays killed appy, the secondary looked very slow footed for appy as well. Leedy is a man, period. Spurlock gave him a good shot, but I dont think it phased him, Myron Pinkston, people watch and take note. We may be seeing the next great LPD running back. His size to be a kid (15 years old if Im not mistaken) is amazing. He looks like an Abrhams tank on the field. Just now feeling comfortable with ball it seems, Lawson gives Pinkston a luxury that most dont get, 2 headed monster, its good to see Pinkson brought along at a slower pace, while Lawson is bar non the best player in the region, maybe since Justin Hamilton.
Lawson is better than Spivey or Robbins was?
Lets say, overall. I know Heath was outstanding as well, could have done anything he wanted too, Brad could have been a heck of a defensive player, Spivey isnt in the same class as Lawson. Lawson is big, fast and strong. Has played QB, RB, WR, DB, PR, and KR. Thats where my statement stems from. The QB's such as Heath and Brad were both outstanding. But Hamilton could have played any position he wanted to and excelled just like Lawson does.
Got you....You are right Hamilton could probably have been a starter for almost any team at almost any position and Lawson looks like a super versatal player that could do the same
All I can say is thank goodness I didn't pay to get in. Stood with some friends up on Bum's Ridge (that's what we call it), the small paved area below the auditorium. I'll never fault the fellows on the field for a poor performance, but I think the defensive scheme could have been more thought out. When you give up over 300 yards rushing, a new plan may be needed.

Lawson has also started and EXCELLED since his freshman year. PV does not have a history of playing freshmen. That alone says a lot for the young man.
